Analytical Exposition


1. The purpose of analytical exposition is to persuade the reader or listener about something in the case ( need to be attended ).

2. Structure of Analytical Exposition
a. Thesis (Statement of Position).
It introduces topics and indicates the writer opinion. It states the writer’s point of view about the topic discussed. The writer shows himself in.
b. Arguments
The number may very, but each argument mush be supported by evidence and explanation. It consists of point of argument and it’s collaboration arguments.
c. Reiteration
It restates the point of view of the writer or to strengthen the thesis.

3. Grammatical Features
a. Focus on generic human or non-human participants.
b. Use of simple present tense
c. Reasoning through causal conjunction or nominalisation ( in addition, futhermore, firstly, thirdly, finally)
d. The use of compound and complex sentences.

 Example of analytical exposition
The Instant That Dangerous
Title
I am sure, in this modern era, which many people prefer things that are almost instant. One of them is food. But the instant food is not good for our bodies and our enviornment as well.
Thesis
Firstly, instans food are usually packaged for long-lasting. In packaging the preservative added. Preservatives are harmful if consumed excessively.
Argument 1
Seconly, an instant food package usually use plastic. While the plastic is not enviormenttally friendly. If it continues to accumulate plastic waste will surely damage the environment on Earth of ours.
Argument 2
From the fact above, i believe if instant foods can be harmful if consumed excessively. Packaging material is also not good for the environment. We should not consume more and better cooking with ingredients that are fresh and natural.
